The Portland Interscholastic League Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction banquet at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Holiday Inn Portland Airport, 8439 N.E. Columbia Blvd. 

Fifty-two nominees will be inducted, representing the current 10 PIL high schools and Jackson, Sabin and Washington, which have closed. The nominees are PIL athletes, coaches and administrators. In addition, one merit award will be presented. 

The dinner will be preceded by a social hour at 4:30 p.m. 

Cost is $50 per ticket, available at the door or by calling Jack Bertell at 503-244-1533.
