Yes I was the Freshman Team Manager for our basketball team. And it was almost half-time and with a few seconds left Mel Brown let go a left-handed hook shot shoot from hal-court that by the Grace of God he made it.
And over the last 45 years I have see Mel and his Trio playing in various endeavors around Oregon.
He is always asks me about the Brown Family and how we are doing. He was and still is a good friend.
