Erickson, Bethel Groves 89 04/06/1921 09/04/2010 Bethel "Beth" was born in Portland to John and Ida Groves. She graduated from Washington High School. Beth worked in creative and business positions at various Portland advertising agencies for 35 years. In 1965 she married Robert Erickson who died in 2004. Beth is survived by her sons, Phil Dean (Linda), Chris Dean (Laura), and Bill King (Cathy); four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, in Multnomah Presbyterian Church, 7555 S.W. 45th Ave., Portland. Remembrances to Alzheimer's Association, A.L.S. Association, and Legacy Hopewell House Hospice.
